Before applying for any of these positions, candidates must ensure they meet the following eligibility criteria:
Educational Qualifications
- Project Scientist-III (Marine Biology – Toxicology): Master’s Degree in Marine Biology or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute with 7 years of experience.
- Project Scientist-II (Computer Science): B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute with 3 years of experience.
- Project Scientist-I (Environmental Science): Master’s Degree in Environmental Science/Marine Sciences or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute.
- Senior Research Fellow (Biochemistry):
- Master’s Degree in Biochemistry or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute.
- NET/CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualification with 2 years of research experience.
- Senior Technical Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent with 2 years of experience.
Age Limit
- Project Scientist-III: Maximum 45 years
- Project Scientist-II: Maximum 40 years
- Project Scientist-I: Maximum 35 years
- Senior Research Fellow: Maximum 32 years
- Senior Technical Assistant: Maximum 30 years
Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/PH candidates is applicable as per government regulations.
Salary Details
- Project Scientist-III: ₹78,000/- (+ HRA)
- Project Scientist-II: ₹67,000/- (+ HRA)
- Project Scientist-I: ₹56,000/- (+ HRA)
- Senior Research Fellow: ₹42,000/- (+ HRA)
- Senior Technical Assistant: ₹35,400/- (+ HRA)
