Medical Standards for Posts Medical Standard General Fitness Visual Acuity A-2 Physically fit in all respects Distant Vision: 6/9, 6/9 without glasses, Near Vision: Sn 0.6 without glasses, must pass test for Colour Vision, Binocular Vision, Night Vision. A-3 Physically fit in all respects Distant Vision: 6/9, 6/9 with or without glasses (power of lenses ≤ 2D), Near Vision: Sn 0.6, pass tests for Colour, Binocular, Night, Myopic vision. B-2 Physically fit in all respects Distant Vision: 6/9, 6/12 with or without glasses (power ≤ 4D), Near Vision: Sn 0.6, pass test for Field of Vision (Binocular Vision) C-2 Physically fit in all respects Distant Vision: 6/12, nil with or without glasses, Near Vision: Sn 0.6 combined, pass for close work, reading vision.
Selection Process The selection process includes:
1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) :
Duration: 90 minutes
Total Questions: 100 (General Awareness: 40, Mathematics: 30, General Intelligence & Reasoning: 30)
PwBD candidates with a scribe will have 120 minutes.
Negative marking of 1/3 marks for wrong answers.
2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) :
Duration: 90 minutes
Total Questions: 120 (General Awareness: 50, Mathematics: 35, General Intelligence & Reasoning: 35)
Shortlisting: 15 times the number of vacancies, based on normalized marks.
PwBD candidates with a scribe will have 120 minutes.
Negative marking of 1/3 marks for wrong answers.
