Selection Process
- Written Examination
- Objective type with Multiple Choice Questions in English.
- Negative marking: 1/4th of marks deducted for incorrect answers.
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Male Candidates:
- Height: Minimum 5’6″
- Chest: 32″ (unexpanded), 33½″ (expanded)
- Female Candidates:
- Height: Minimum 5’2″
- Relaxation: Candidates from Gorkha/Bot Tribe have a 2″ height relaxation.

- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Male Candidates:
- Long Race: 1600 meters in 6½ minutes.
- Push-ups: 20 repetitions.
