1. Assistant Teacher for Lower Primary Schools

• Vacancies: 2900
• Qualifications:
  • Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
  • 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
  • Assam TET or Central TET for Lower Primary.
• Age Limit: 18-40 years (as of 01/01/2025).
• Pay Scale: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 + Grade Pay and other allowances.

2. Assistant Teacher, Science Teacher, and Hindi Teacher for Upper Primary Schools

• Vacancies: 1600
• Qualifications:
  • Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary (or equivalent).
  • Graduate with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).
  • Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary Schools.
• Age Limit: 18-40 years (as of 01/01/2025).
• Pay Scale: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 + Grade Pay and other allowances.

Eligibility Criteria Details

Assistant Teacher (Lower Primary)

• Academic Requirements:
  • At least 50% in Higher/Senior Secondary.
  • Valid Assam TET/Central TET for Lower Primary Schools.
  • Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
• Weightage Details:
  • TET marks: 85%.
  • Higher Secondary marks: 5%.
  • Diploma marks: 5%.
  • Additional achievements: Maximum 5 marks for NCC, sports, or cultural activities.

Assistant Teacher (Upper Primary)

• Academic Requirements:
  • Graduation from a UGC-recognized university.
  • Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or B.Ed.
  • Valid Assam TET/Central TET for Upper Primary Schools.
• Weightage Details:
  • TET marks: 80%.
  • Graduation marks: 5%.
  • Diploma/B.Ed marks: 5%.
  • Additional achievements: Maximum 5 marks for NCC, sports, or cultural activities.

Science Teacher (Upper Primary)

• Academic Requirements:
  • B.Sc. from a UGC-recognized university.
  • Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or B.Ed.

  • TET marks: 80%.
