Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Candidates should possess a PhD or advanced MS degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Computer Science (CS) from a reputable university.
- Research Experience: Previous research experience, either during graduate studies or within the industry, is highly valued.
- Technical Expertise:
- Software Proficiency: Strong skills in C++, Perl, and Python are essential. Experience with cycle-accurate (micro)architecture simulators and/or system software (including compilers, runtimes, and operating systems) is required.
- VLSI Design: Expertise in VLSI design and/or accelerator-based (micro)architecture is crucial.
- Emerging Workloads: Familiarity with emerging AI and Cloud workloads, including their characterization and workload-driven architecture, is highly desirable.
