Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fresher Data Engineer to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on data engineering projects that will enhance your skills and contribute to the development of scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Pipeline Development: Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
  • Data Warehousing: Support data warehousing solutions to facilitate analytics and reporting.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • SQL Optimization: Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure consistency and integrity of data across various sources and systems.
  • Issue Resolution: Participate in troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, pipelines, and systems.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database management systems.
    • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
    • Exposure to programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
    • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
    • Understanding of ETL tools and processes.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Familiarity with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
    • Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
    • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
