Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in training programs (both self-paced and mentor-led) on technologies and products offered by the Industrial Software COE.
- Assist your assigned mentor with project work, initiatives, and other activities.
- Regularly report progress to your Emerson mentor and the mentor assigned by your educational institute.
- Collaborate with your educational institute’s mentor to meet academic requirements during the internship.
- Prepare and submit reports on the work performed and lessons learned to both your Emerson mentor and your institute mentor at the end of the internship.

Requirements for the Role:
- Experience: 0 years. Must have cleared all exams up to the VIth semester and be pursuing the VIIth or VIIIth semester of B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical, Polymer, or Petroleum Engineering.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Ability to work in a team to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Familiarity with P&IDs, PFDs, and a good understanding of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Willingness to undergo both technical and soft skills training as required.
- Knowledge of unit operations, process equipment design, numerical analysis methods, and industrial stoichiometry.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel VBA Macro Development and/or Microsoft Access is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Pursuing B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical, Polymer, or Petroleum Engineering (VIIth or VIIIth Semester).
