Job Summary:
As a Graduate Trainee Engineer in new product development, you will contribute to a wide range of engineering tasks. Your mission is to deliver highly reliable products for which Emerson is renowned. This involves test case planning, debugging, and execution to verify the functionality of embedded firmware.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on experience with front-end languages (e.g., HTML5, XML, JavaScript, JSON, CSS).
  • Knowledge of version control (e.g., Git).
  • Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and design.
  • Involvement in the software development life cycle and QA processes within an Agile environment.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent with a focus on programming.
  • Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and programming languages like C++, C#, Python, Java.
  • Mobile development experience (iOS, Android, UWP) and knowledge of Xamarin/Xamarin.Forms.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases and HART/Foundation Fieldbus technologies.
