Educational Qualification:

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

  1. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).
  2. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE norms.
  3. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
  4. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
  5. B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Additionally, candidates must have:

  • Qualified the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET).
  • Passed Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A./M.A. with Hindi as one of the subjects.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 42 Years (as of the application closing date)
  • Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Haryana Government norms.

Selection Process:

The selection will be based on a written examination consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with a total of 95 marks. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. The exam will be conducted in both English and Hindi, and the total duration will be 105 minutes, including an additional 5 minutes for marking answers.

  • SC/BC/EWS (Male): ₹35
  • SC/BC/EWS (Female): ₹18
