Role Overview:

As a Software Consultant specializing in Cloud Engineering with a focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), you will be responsible for leveraging cloud technologies and DevOps practices to optimize and manage cloud solutions. The role involves working on cloud security, scripting, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to deliver efficient and secure cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Engineering: Utilize expertise in cloud engineering and OCI to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions.
• DevOps and CI/CD: Apply knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and configuration management.
• Cloud Security: Ensure adherence to cloud security practices and compliance standards such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
• Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts using Bash, PowerShell, or Python to automate cloud processes.
• Containerization: Work with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to manage and deploy applications.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage cloud infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform or Oracle Resource Manager.
• Problem Solving: Analyze and resolve issues with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with team members and work independently with a proactive and self-motivated approach.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Cloud Expertise: Strong experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Scripting Languages: Proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• DevOps Tools: Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management.
• Containerization: Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• IaC Tools: Experience with Terraform or Oracle Resource Manager.
• Security Practices: Understanding of cloud security practices and compliance standards.
• Analytical Skills: In-depth requirement understanding with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
