Job Description:

As a Data Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will be responsible for developing and deploying advanced data solutions that leverage machine learning algorithms and frameworks. You will work closely with our global teams to design efficient data architectures and optimize data retrieval processes. Your role will involve applying your expertise in Python, machine learning, and database management to create impactful solutions for our clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize Python-based solutions for data processing and machine learning applications.
  • Utilize popular machine learning libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, and scikit-learn to implement clustering and classification algorithms.
  • Apply clustering algorithms (e.g., K-means, hierarchical clustering) for grouping similar data points.
  • Implement classification algorithms (e.g., decision trees, support vector machines, random forests) for tasks like image recognition and natural language processing.
  • Design and optimize database schemas in both relational and non-relational databases like MySQL.
  • Handle multi-threading, multi-process handling, and memory management in software design.
  • Evaluate machine learning models using advanced metrics and techniques.
  • Deploy machine learning models into production environments.
  • Work within an Agile Scrum team and utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) for collaborative development.
